Oklahoma factoids: The capital of Oklahoma is Oklahoma City (OKC) — which is also its largest city. Today’s population in Oklahoma is approximately 3.9 million (averaging around 55 people per square mile). Oklahoma’s state tree is the ‘Redbud’; its state flower is the ‘Oklahoma rose’; its state bird the ‘Scissor-tailed Flycatcher’; its state fruit is the ‘Strawberry’ — while it’s state vegetable the ‘Watermelon’. Oklahoma’s State Motto is: “Labor Omnia Vincit”(Work Conquers All Things).
